Placer gold drywasher plans
Start digging and recover gold in the desert, dry river beds or any gold bearing area using this
drywasher bellows machine to separate the dirt from the dollars! This portable motorized sifter can be carried
like a backpack into the most remote areas. The bellows machine that you can build with these plans is the most efficient method for
recovering gold in deserts or other arid regions.
This drywasher is well designed using modern light-weight, long-lasting materials. It can be back-packed over rugged terrain and pulled over long distances on bicycle wheels that double for hand crank and driven flywheel if powered by a small 39cc (2.4 cu. in.) 2-cycle motor typically used on a weed eater, small chain saw or hedge trimmer.
Frame construction is aluminum and peripherals are easy to find materials from a fabric store and Home Depot or Lowe’s. These machines work well in the arid climates of Arizona and California or anyplace where the process material is dry.
How much does it cost to build? Cost could vary from $350 using all new materials to as little $50 to an experienced builder using salvaged materials. It should last for years and years.

The prototype for this drywasher built using these plans was first tried out about 50 miles southeast of Palm Springs. Digging was hard work and it was bitter cold every morning, but after 8 days this drywasher yielded 2 ½ ounces…
