These one-of-a-kind plans for a traditional Stearman PT-17 pedal toy airplane feature plywood construction with metal brackets
and drive components. Details depicted are dimensioned in inches.
No machining other than cutting and drilling.
Several components are detailed as welded assemblies, but may be brazed or silver soldered.
PT-17 toy plane finished size is aproximately 5 ft. long by 2 ft. high as drawn. Easy to follow plans show framing and mechanical installation.
Customize the design by painting the plane in your own special colors and add decals and a toy gun if you want. Rat-a-tat-tat! The toy airplane is not airworthy, but if you add an electric or gas motor and it can taxi down the runway!
